After repair work, the train service resumed later in the day. Speaking about the snag, Chief Public Relation Officer of Railways said, "Smoke was emanating from the engine so we stopped the train at Bamur. The engine has come from Bhilai. Strict action will be taken if anyone is found responsible for the snag."
