Bhubaneswar: Time and again divyangs have proved that they can excel in almost every field - and how could cinema and acting be far. With an aim to provide a platform to such talents, Ollywood actor Sabyasachi Mishra and social welfare organization Smile Please jointly organized ‘Super 22’ show in Bhubaneswar on Monday to showcase the success of 22 such divyangs.

In the Super 22 programme, the acting and dancing skills of divyangs were presented while a documentary on their journey to success was also exhibited.

"I am extremely happy that I was a part of the event. I never dreamt that such a program would be organized for us. I am grateful to Sabyasachi," said actor Aditya Mohanty.

"It was a unique experience for me when I took part in the 'Mu Bi Hebi Celebrity' audition, meant only for the divyangs. I never thought that I would be selected among the 200 participants. Besides, I had never thought that I would face camera one day," said another participant Pintu Senapati.

MP Raghunath Mohapatra, OTV MD Jagi Mangat Panda, former Parliamentarian Tathagata Satpathy, DCP (Traffic) Sagarika Nath, and several social activists and dignitaries were present at the programme.

"Equal opportunities should be given to people with disabilities so that they also can come forward. I thank the organizers for this unique initiative, which is definitely praiseworthy," said Sagarika Nath.

"I have a dream of making them international stars. Today, I have introduced them before some of the noted personalities of Odisha. They are talented and they can achieve the stardom status in the industry," said Sabyasachi.

Sabyasachi along with his team initiated the ‘Super 22’ talent hunt programme specially designed for the persons with disabilities on November 13, 2018.
