Balasore: Such was the craze for Babushan starrer movie 'Sundargarh Ra Salman Khan' that cancellation of screening of the movie for two consecutive days upset the audience who ransacked the Ganesh Cinema Hall at Jaleswar in the district here on Friday.

The movie goers alleged though the film released two days back, they were unable to watch the latest movie of Tarang Cine Productions owing to some technical snag.

"For the last two days the authorities of Ganesh Cinema Hall have failed to run the movie despite the fact that we bought tickets in advance from the counters," said a local resident.

Another movie goer alleged that neither the theatre management nor any other official informed about the actual reason for cancellation of the screening.

"We were demanding a refund of money or screening of the movie. As the authorities did not give any satisfactory answer, the crowd went berserk and ransacked property at the cinema hall," said another movie-goer.

Despite several attempts, the authorities of the cinema hall could not be contacted to know the reasons behind the delay and non-screening of the film.

The action packed-family drama Sundargarh Ra Salman Khan has been receiving overwhelming response after its release in 70 theatres across the State on the opening day on Wednesday.
