Student dies after falling from hostel terrace in Ravenshaw University

Cuttack: A PhD scholar died allegedly after falling from the rooftop of the New Hostel building of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack today.

The student was identified as Kusadhar Bag of Bolangir district. He was pursuing PhD in Political Science.

On getting information, officials of Malgodown police station rushed to the spot and seized his body. Later, Kusadhar’s body was sent for post-mortem.

The exact reason behind the death of Kusadhar is yet to be ascertained by the police, sources said.
