Bhubaneswar: The State government will conduct Special OJEE today to fill up around 37,000 seats in different engineering colleges for B.Tech courses as per the directive of the Orissa High Court.

The test will begin at 10 am and continue till noon. Source said as many as 12,000 students have registered themselves to appear the examination. In Bhubaneswar, the examination will be held at 15 centres.

The result of the Special OJEE will be declared by July 27 and the counselling will be done for eligible students in between August 8 and 14.

Notably, total 12,700 students from the State have completed choice locking during first phase of counselling as per JEE Main rank. In the State, total 49,000 B.Tech seats are available in six State-run and 90 private engineering colleges.
