Bhubaneswar: Weather is likely to remain dry over Odisha in the next five days with shallow to moderate fog at isolated places, the India Meteorological Department predicted on Wednesday.

According to Bhubaneswar Met centre, shallow to moderate fog is likely to prevail in 10 districts in the State in the next 24 hours. The districts are Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Puri, Bhadrak, Kalahandi, Koraput and Malkangiri.

"There are possibilities of fall in minimum temperature by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in interior and coastal Odisha in the next two to three days. Due to the drop, the temperature in interior Odisha will remain 3 to four degree below normal and 2 to 3 degree below normal in coastal Odisha," said HR Biswas, the director of Bhubaneswar Met Centre.

He further said that the temperature in Bhubaneswar city will be around 15 degree Celsius tomorrow and there are chances of shallow fog. The sky will remain clear thereafter. The temperature may fall by 1 to 2 degree in the city in the next two days.

Speaking about today's weather, Biswas said Phulbani emerged as the coldest place in the State with lowest minimum temperature of 7.5 degree Celsius while Bhubaneswar recorded 16 degree Celsius.
