Sex racket busted in Rayagada, three detained

Rayagada: A prostitution racket running from a rented house near FCI Square of JK Road in Rayagada district was busted on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the rented house, detained three persons and rescued two girls engaged in flesh trade.

The police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation to find out whether more persons were involved in the racket.

“Three men and two girls were found in a compromising position. Some objectionable items were also seized from the house. A case has been registered in this regard and action will be taken against the accused persons as per law,” said Rayagada SDPO Tapan Narayan Rath.
