Sex racket busted in Odisha; 5 including kingpin arrested, 2 women rescued

Jajpur: A major sex racket which was operating from a rented accommodation at Jaraka area in Jajpur district was busted on Sunday night. Senior police officials informed that two girls were rescued while five persons including two agents and three customers have been arrested following a raid.

As per reports, the sex racket was being operated by a woman from Bichakhandi area under Jenapur Police limits. Several girls were in contact with the woman who used to engage them in flesh trade in several parts of Jajpur district.

It is pertinent to mention here that a sex racket was also busted in Keonjhar district on August 10. As the prostitution racket was also operating from a rented accommodation, it has now become a matter of concern for the law enforcing agencies as the mastermind behind such illegal flesh trade frequently change and shift their business from one place to other.
