Severed Head Of Missing Gaon Sathi Found; Family Suspect Human Sacrifice

Rourkela: Tension prevailed at Kirei panchayat of Sundergarh district after the severed head of missing Gaon Sathi, Ramesh Singh was recovered on Friday.

The severed head of Ramesh was found from a pond near Bhawanipur cold storage unit. Earlier, the cut off arm and a limbless torso was recovered on Thursday.

With a hope to find more missing body parts, police have launched an operation to dry up the pond.

As per reports, Ramesh had gone missing under mysterious circumstances on January 13. His family members suspected that he was murdered.

“We suspect that my brother has been killed for some human sacrifice ritual. He did not have any enmity with anyone,” said deceased Ramesh’s brother, Kishore.

Though the exact reason behind Ramesh’s death is not clear, forensic team has been engaged to carry out further investigation into the incident.

It is suspected that miscreants dumped the body parts of Ramesh at different places in a bid to mislead investigation.

Meanwhile, two persons including a woman have been detained by police.
