Senior OAS officer Deba Prasad Dash suspended

Bhubaneswar: The State government on Monday put senior Odisha Administrative Officer (OAS) Deba Prasad Dash under suspension as a part of departmental disciplinary action.

Dash has been asked by the General Administration (GA) department to stay in his headquarters, Cuttack, during the period of suspension. Without the permission of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) Central, Dash cannot leave the headquarters, the directive added.

Dash was working as a joint secretary at the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) when he was suspended.
