Security heightened at Integrated Test Range in Chandipur

Balasore: Amidst prevailing tension between India and Pakistan, security has been beefed up at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Balasore.

Speaking exclusively to OTV, Director of ITR, Binay Kumar, informed that extra security measures have been put in place at the ITR adding that electronic fencing, coastal surveillance radars, infrared imagery and total guidance system are kept on alert.

"I have taken a stock of the situation with all my security personnel. Irrespective of the border situation we try our best to strengthen our security system," Kumar said.

Talking about the current situation and possibility of a war between the two neighbouring countries Kumar said," Definition of war has changed these days. It is only about flexing your muscles by showing military prowess. India is very powerful country and we all are very proud of being Indians."
