Reshuffle In Forest Administration: 7 Officers Get New Assignment

Bhubaneswar: In a major administrative rejig in the forest administration, the Odisha government on Wednesday effected transfer of six Indian Forest Service (IFS) and one Odisha Forest Service (OFS) officer.

According to a notification issued by the forest and environment department, 1989 batch IFS officer Susanta Nanda has been transferred and posted as Director, Environment with additional charge of CEO, CDA & MD, PD, ICZMP.

Similarly, 2005 batch IFS Arun Kumar Swain has been transferred and appointed as Director (Commercial), OFDC Ltd., Bhubaneswar in place of E.L. Yanger Aier, IFS who is retiring on December 31 this year.

DFO, Satkosia (WL) Division, Ramaswamy P. has been transferred and posted as DFO, Puri (WL) Division while Poornima P. has been posted as DFO, Khordha Forest Division who was earlier posted as the DFO, Bhadrak (WL) Division.

Ravi Meena, DFO, Angul Forest Division has been transferred and posted as I/c DFO, Satkosia (WL) Division replacing Ramaswamy P.

Jadav Sudarshan Gopinath from the Baripada Forest Division has been transferred and posted as I/c DFO, Athagarh Forest Division in place of Sasmita Lenka.

OFS Sasmita Lenka, DFO, Athagarh Forest Division has been transferred and posted as DCF, O/o the PCCF, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
