Bhubaneswar: The physical mode of teaching for class 1 to 8 students in schools across Odisha is likely to resume soon.

School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday informed that a decision regarding the reopening of schools for class 1 to 8 students will be taken at an appropriate time.

Already the Anganwadi centres across the State have started functioning from February 1 and hence the schools for Class 1 to 8 will also be reopened at an appropriate time. Moreover, a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) keeping in view the COVID-19 guidelines is being prepared by the department, Dash told reporters.

The Minister, however, did not clarified on the exact dates for the reopening of schools for class 1 to 8 students.
