Rath Yatra 2018: Rituals schedule for Puri Chariot festival

Puri: It is that time of the year when Trinity -- Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra will come out of the Puri temple to give darshan to lakhs of devotees on the occasion of Rath Yatra.

In some time, the sibling deities will aboard their three grand chariots – the sight which devotees look forward to- on the occasion of annual Rath Yatra every year here on Grand Road (Badadanda)

Elaborate arrangements have been made by the temple administration to conduct the rituals on time.

• Mangala Alati 6 am
• Mailama at 6.10 am
• Tadapalagi and Rosa Homa 6.30 am
• Abakash ritual, Surya Puja and Dwarapala puja 7.00 am onwards
• Besha Sesha 7.30 am
• Gopala Ballahav,Khechudi Bhoga-8am to 9am
• Ratha Pratistha-9 am
• Mangalarpana 9.15 am
• Pahandi 9.30 am till 12:30 pm
• Entry of Madan Mohan 12.30 to 1 pm
• Chitalagi 1.30 pm to 2 pm
• Chhera Pahanra 2 pm to 3 pm
• Chariot pulling  4 pm
