Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha will experience light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorm activity in the coming days, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday.
Though dry weather will mostly prevail across Odisha till February 15, several districts including Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Nuapada, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Deogarh and Keonjhar are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershower between February 16 and 17.
Thunderstorm activities might continue for the subsequent two days, said IMD in its weather bulletin issued today.
Meanwhile, there has been considerable improvement in the cold wave conditions in several parts of the State in the past 48 hours.
“The minimum temperature (Night temperature) is likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius at many places over the districts of Odisha during next 2-3 days and no large change thereafter,” IMD’s release said.
