Puri: Despite ban and stringent action against the violators, a picture of the Puri Jagannath temple's interior was again made viral on social media. This time, one Megha Luthra uploaded the picture on her facebook account and captioned it ‘ek dham yatra’.

Megha’s facebook profile mentions her as working at IndiGo Airlines and she is currently staying in Bengaluru.

The photograph was taken near the barricade through which the devotees enter the Nata Mandap of the sanctum sanctorum.

Meanwhile, the incident has trigged resentment among the devotees and people of Odisha who have accused the administration of being callous in maintaining strict security arrangements inside the temple.

It may be noted that the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has completely restricted the use of mobile phone and other electronic gadgets inside the premises of the 12th century shrine.

The SJTA officials are yet to comment on the matter.

This is not the first time that the pictures of the temple were made viral on social media. Earlier on October 9, interior pictures of the Srimandir were uploaded by a Sub-Inspector of Seabeach police station in Puri. The cop was suspended within a couple of hours after the news caught media attention.
