Puri: With just few days left for the bypoll to the Pipili Assembly seat, high-profile campaigning raised the poll heat in the constituency today.

The Opposition BJP exuded confidence in kicking off a wave of paribartan (change) in the State politics right from Pipili.

Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi campaigned for the party candidate Ashrit Patnaik in Laxminarayanpur, Puba Sasan, Poparanga, Orakala, Bharatipur, Kanti and several other areas under the segment while urging people to vote for the BJP in large numbers.

“After looking at the mood of the public, and with humility and confidence, I can say that people of Pipili and Delang will surely vote the BJP to power,” Sarangi told OTV.

“The wave of Paribartan in Odisha will start from Pipili only,” she added.

Chief Minister and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik also hit the campaign trail for party candidate Rudra Maharathy and addressed people of 6 zilla parishad zones through virtual mode in view of the pandemic.

CM Naveen promised that he would visit Pipili and Deland after the Covid outbreak. Interacting with voters during the occasion, Patnaik said “A lot of development has been carried out in Pipili. I also assure you many more big projects will become a reality in the region in the coming days and I will myself monitor the works.”
