Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday released the complete timeline and guidelines for State Public Universities and all degree Colleges for Post Graduate (PG) spot- II admissions for the session 2020-21.

As per the notification issued by Higher Education Department, the merit list will be published at 11 am on February 6, 2021. The candidates as per merit list will be asked to report at their respective universities/ colleges on February 8 & 9.

The preparation and publication of select list out of the reported candidates by respective universities/ colleges has been fixed for February 10.

The document verification, payment and admission of candidates from the select list will be held on February 11.

Here are the key guidelines for universities/ colleges

1. Selection will be based on merit (Career mark  + CPET mark)

2. There will be no slide up option for Spot selection

3. Subject wise merit list of each PG Course will be prepared and published by SAMS. Candidates will be intimated through SMS and they can also view it in their student log in id.

4. If a candidate is selected in more than one institution/subject, then he/she will finalise only one of them and other options will be blocked.

5. After the date of admission (February 11), if some vacancies still persist, then universities/colleges are authorised to fill up vacancies out of the candidates who had reported during the reporting period and the admission process may continue till February 20.
