Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday announced to resume physical classroom teaching for the students of Post Graduate (PG) first year and pre-final year Under Graduate (UG) classes soon.

As per Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo, the classes for both PG first year and pre-final UG students will start from February 10, 2021.

In a letter to College Principals, the Higher Education Department has asked them to start physical classroom teaching for the students of 2020-21 pre-final year UG (2nd year in case of  3 year UG course and 3rd year in case of 4-year UG course) and first year PG courses.

According to Sahoo, the hostels will reopen on February 8 and all the classes will be conducted as per the COVID-19 protocols.

The third semester examinations of three-year  UG courses and fifth semester exam of four-year UG courses will begin from April 18 and continue till April 30, 2021. The results will be announced by May 31.

Similarly in case of PG courses, the first semester examinations will be conducted between June 7 and 19. The results will be announced by July 20.
