Pet Dog Dies Fighting Cobra To Save Master In Odisha

Berhampur: “The greatest fear dogs know is the fear that you will not come back when you go out the door without them.” The saying was proven true in Ganjam’s Rangeilunda block when a brave pet dog killed a venomous Cobra in a bid to save its master.

As per reports, a huge Cobra was seen entering into a mobile phone store located at Panchama road in Randha Bazar under Rangeilunda block of Ganjam district on Friday noon. A pet dog playing near the shop immediately attacked the serpent and fought till it got the better of the snake.

The fight ensued for at least an hour and the snake was killed, but the dog also lost his life after it received some fatal snakebites.

A similar incident occurred in November too when a pet dog named ‘Laden’ in Khurda died fighting a Cobra which was dangerously moving close to the children playing nearby.
