Bhubaneswar: At a time when ruling Biju Janata Dal(BJD) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are gearing up for the upcoming Patkura assembly election, the Congress party has decided to begin its campaigning after Bahuda Yatra of the Holy Trinity, informed Odisha Congress chief Niranjan Patnaik today.

All Congress MLAs and the sole MP have been asked to stay at least for two days in Patkura to campaign for party candidate Jayanta Kumar Mohanty. Odisha Congress has also asked its national leaders to campaign for the party candidate, Patnaik informed.

“We will start campaigning after Bahuda Yatra and as I hold the OPCC president post, I will also visit Patkura and appeal the voters to vote for Congress candidate. Secretaries and general secretaries of All India Congress Committee may come to Patkura to campaign for party candidate,” added Patnaik.
