Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of BJP has decided to fire on all cylinders in its protest seeking justice over the murder case of Pari. The main opposition party in the State on Wednesday announced to take up 'Padayatras' across the State from December 15 to turn heat on Odisha government.

Apart from staging rallies in all 147 Assembly constituencies from December from December 15 to 20 to make people aware about the misgivings of the State government, the party will also launch a mega padayatra from Bhubaneswar to Pari's village Jadupur on December 21 demanding justice for the 5-year-old Nayagarh girl.

"When a government makes cheating people its state policy, the revolution against such a bigoted government needs to be long and strong enough to pull it down from the throne," ranted Prithviraj Harichandan, State Secretary of BJP.

"I do not know how much pressure it will put on the government, but we will anyway set out on a huge procession on December 21 from Bhubaneswar to Jadupur and create awareness in people we will meet along the way about this government's failings.

Notably, the BJP has been alleging loopholes into the probe of kidnapping and brutal murder case of the five-year-old Nayagarh girl Pari. While the demonstration of the party in front of the Nayagarh Collector’s office continues, the party activists also staged a protest before the Raj Bhawan on Monday.
