The Police said the record seizure is a result of special drive and efforts made by them to counter drug trafficking as it poses serious challenge.

“Because of special emphasis given to counter drug trafficking by Government, in the current year Odisha Police launched special drives and made special effort to counter drug trafficking including Cannabis/Ganja trafficking,” the statement said.
