“In the last 10 years, OTV foresight has seen many known personalities from politics, media, government and academics who joined us to share ideas and address issues of governance, leadership, growth and development. Today’s convention sets the stage for issues related to Indian economy slowdown, welfare schemes of State government and changing face of Bollywood in the digital era,” said OTV Managing Director Jagi Mangat Panda in her welcome address.

General Secretary of CPI(M), Sitaram Yechury, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and veteran BJP leader Subramanian Swamy graced the inaugural session of the event with a discussion on “Slowdown and Beyond: Ideas for a sustainable and equitable recovery of the Indian Economy”.
Sharing his thoughts, Subramanian Swamy said "We need a stimulus to revive the economy and provide relief to consumers and abolishing income tax could do that instantaneously. A former RBI governor raised interest rates, which was detrimental for the economy and we have to rectify and bring it down."

"It’s not a mere slowdown, we have entered into a recession, unemployment is highest in past half a century. Around Rs 7,77,800 crores written off as NPAs by Indian banks; people looted banks and got away with it," said General Secretary of CPI(M), Sitaram Yechury.

In the next session, a lot of key local issues took centre stage with noted personalities and key speakers from Odisha debating on “Objective of Schemes: Development or Vote bank.”
State Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Lekhashree Samantsinghar, Odisha Convenor of Aam Admi Party Nishikant Mohapatra and Secretary of All India Congress Committee, Odisha, Biswaranjan Mohanty shared their thoughts on the topic.
"Development schemes in Odisha are only implemented with an aim to keep a stranglehold on voters; the timing of such schemes exposes this truth," said BJP’s Lekhashree Samantsinghar.

The third session lined up at the annual convention “Slowdown and Beyond: Ideas for a sustainable and equitable recovery of the Indian Economy” was addressed by National spokesperson of Indian National Congress, Sanjay Jha.
"In a weak economy, States like Odisha will suffer because of low investments in private sector. The current dispensation has blown the opportunity to take advantage of lower oil prices and a booming global economy," said Jha.

In the last session actor Ali Fazal shared his insight on “Digital Era and changing face of Bollywood cinema.”
