Tourist drowns in sea at Astarang, another missing

Konark: In a tragic incident, a tourist was drowned and another went missing while taking bath at Jahania beach at Astarang in Puri on Sunday morning.

While the locals managed to rescue two tourists, the fire brigade team rushed to the spot and tracde out another missing tourist.

The search operation was on till reports last came in.

While the missing tourist belongs to Buxi Bazar area of Cuttack city, the deceased tourist belongs to Jamshedpur, sources said.

However, their identity was not yet known.

The two other tourists rescued by the locals are employees of a private engineering college in Bhubaneswar, the sources added.
