Three persons die of anthrax in Koraput

Koraput: Three persons are suspected to have died of anthrax in Biriguda village under Laxmipur block of Korpaut district. The deaths occurred within the span of a week.

A team of doctors has already reached the village and undertaken treatment of the affected villagers. Source said blood samples of the affected persons have been sent to laboratory for test. Laxmipur BDO and ABDO have submitted a report to the collector after visiting the village.
