Bhubaneswar: In major reshuffle in the IPS cadre, the Odisha government on Tuesday shifted 10 senior officers on new posting.

According to a Home department notification, Satyajit Mohanty, who is currently working as Additional Director General (ADG) of police at the police headquarters, has been given additional charge of ADG (Law and Order).

CMD of Odisha State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation Ltd, MK Chhabra, has been transferred and posted as ADG, Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC). He is replaced by SK Upadhyay.

BN Jha has been shifted and posted as ADG (Communication) while AK Ray has been appointed as additional DGP, Prison & Department of Correctional Services (DCS).

Director, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), B Radhika, has been given additional responsibility of ADG, State Armed Police (SAP) while Sudhanshu Sarangi has been posted as CMD of Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) on his return from Central deputation.

Ganjam SP Narasingh Bhol and SP (Vigilance) Amitendra Nath Sinha have been promoted to the rank of DIG and posted in the Vigilance department.
Besides, Abinash Kumar, Commandant of Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP), 5th Battalion, Baripada, has been shifted and posted as SP, Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch, the notification added.
