Bhubaneswar: The Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in course of its interrogation has come to know that the four terrorists of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) had sent Rs 3 lakh to Tehrik-i-Taliban, a Pakistan-based terrorist outfit.

The RAW officials, during interrogation of the four SIMI ultras, who were arrested from Rourkela recently, on Saturday got the information that the four ultras, used to collect money by looting banks and dacoity, and used to send money to Tehrik-i-Taliban.

It was also revealed that Mohammed Eijajuddin one of the SIMI members had recently gone to Bangladesh to extend the network of the gang. However, he was killed during encounter with the Andhra Pradesh police.

In the meanwhile, the Special Task Force (STF), which is investigating into the SIMI network in Odisha, has got the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number of the mobile phones used by these SIMI ultras.
