Samiti Sabhya alleges husband murdered to settle political scores

Nayagarh: Twist in murder of Nakula Bantha at Khairapati as wife and Kendudhipi Samiti Sabhya Puspanjali Bantha on Sunday alleged that husband of local sarpanch Shailajanandini Naik is involved in the crime.

Puspanjali lodged a police complaint saying six persons of Khairapati village murdered her husband as per the directive of Basant Naik, husband of Shailajanandini to settle political scores.

Meanwhile, enough police have been deployed at Khairapadi village to maintain law and order in the area.
