Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police was on Monday provided with five new PCR vans by the State PSU National Aluminium Company (Nalco).

After flagging off the PCR vans from the premises of Nalco Corporate Office here, the State PSU’s CMD TK Chand said, “To increase the agility and mobility of the Commissionerate Police, Nalco will definitely support them.”

Sources said the new PCR vans will be used to attend the quick response call under Dial 100 more efficiently. In Bhubaneswar, 30 PCR vans are operating while 21 PCR vans are given to Cuttack.

Police Commissioner RP Sharma, who was present at the function, said, “These new PCR vans will fulfill the deficiencies in vehicles.”
