Joda (Keonjhar): In a daring broad daylight heist, four unidentified miscreants looted cash worth Rs 19 from the cash counter at the Andhra Bank’s Joda branch in Keonjhar district on Monday.

Reports said the four miscreants, three of them with masks covering their face, arrived at the bank on two bikes at about 3 PM.

All of them went inside the bank and threatened the cashier at gunpoint asking him to hand over the cash from the cash counter.

After collecting the cash, the four miscreants fled the area. Before leaving the area, the miscreants took away the hard disk of the CCTV camera installed in the bank.

Following information, police rushed to the bank for an on-the-spot investigation.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the miscreants might have come from the neighbouring Jharkhand as they were talking in Hindi.

Police, in the meanwhile, has launched a manhunt to nab the looters by sealing all entry and exit points of Joda town.

However, no one has been arrested till reports last came in.
