Bhubaneswar: Saila Ransingh, the 'lady don' and who was arrested earlier for attacking cops, was arrested again after attacking another family at Haladipadia slum under Laxmisagar police limits here on Sunday.
A total of 11 persons including Saila's aide Subhadra were arrested in connection with the attack case.
Saila, against whom several criminal cases are pending, ensued a tussle with another family in the locality which turned a violent turn ultimately. Four persons were injured in the face-off.
On being informed, the police rushed to the spot and detained Saila along with six others. They have been taken to custody for interrogation, police said. Police forces have been deployed in the area.
Though the reason behind the scuffle is yet to be ascertained, it is believed that Saila and her associates attacked the family over past enmity, reports stated.
Notably, Saila was behind the bars for attacking sub-inspector of Laxmisagar Police Station on June 8. She and her associates had attacked the cop when police officials tried to resolve a quarrel.
After languishing in Jharpada jail for at least five months, she was released on bail recently.
