Kendrapara MP will continue inspecting infra proj sites

Bhubaneswar: Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda has said he will not tolerate corruption and bad quality work in infrastructure projects and will keep on inspecting sites. A release issued by the MP's office said this on Saturday.

"MP had been to the bridge site on 25th this month based on public complains that the work is being done with sub standard materials & lots of corruption is being done in such infrastructure projects in Mahanga constituency," the release added.

The people involved in this corruption were conspiring to not have MP's visit to the place & were also planning to create disturbance during MP's visit, it added.

The statement was issued following the collapse of the first desk slab (Roof Casting) of Gobari Bridge on Jaleswarpur-Baradia road in Mahanga of Cuttack district.
