Junior engineer in vigilance net

Balasore: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids at four places including the residence Mayurbhanj’s Morada block’s junior engineer Rabindra Pothala on charges of accumulation of properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to reports, a team led by Baripada vigilance DSP Sanjay Das Mohapatra conducted raids at residence of Pothala’s elder brother near Udala in Mayurbhanj district.

The vigilance officials have seized some important documents including bank passbooks from the house, reports added.

An FIR was registered against Pothala about one and half years ago, vigilance officials informed.
