Cuttack: With the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations scheduled to begin in the next week from February 22, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has started dispatching the question papers in a phased manner to all nodal centres.

“We had started the dispatch of the question papers for the first three days of the examination from February 10 which will reach all nodal centres by tomorrow evening amid tight security. In the second phase, we will dispatch the question papers from February 17 for the next three days of the examination,” BSE president Prof Dakshya Prasad Nanda told OTV today.

Apart from the question papers, the Board has also dispatched blank OMR sheets to all nodal centres, he informed.

He said the Board, for the first time, had uploaded the admit cards of the students on the website www.indiaresults.com on January 30 this year.

Most of the students have already downloaded their admit card from the website, a system introduced for the first time this year, Nanda said adding hard copies of the admit cards which have also reached all examination centres.

“The students can collect the hard copies of their admit cards from the concerned headmasters of the examination centres from today,” he informed.

Asked about the measures taken by the Board to ensure smooth conduct of the examination, Nanda said the Board had informed the students and the guardians about its preparation for the examination through the media.

“The examinees, guardians, teachers, district administration, police and the media have a major role in the smooth conduct of the examination. We hope that the examination would be held smoothly,” he added.

The BSE president also wished good luck to all the students and urged them to appear in the examination without any mental pressure.
