Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Saturday uploaded the admit cards for the students who will appear in the annual High School Certification (HSC) examinations beginning from February 22.

Informing this to the media, BSE president Prof Dakshya Prasad Nanda said the Board had uploaded the admit cards of the students on the website www.indiaresults.com

“The students can download their admit card by mentioning the name of their district and school on the said website. By showing their admit card, they will be allowed to enter the examination hall by the concerned centre superintendent,” Nanda added.

A record number of 6,01,348 students have filled up forms for the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations this year.

As per the recommendation of the district level committees, the Board has finalised 2882 centres where the examinations would be conducted. Of the 2882 centres, 305 have been selected as nodal centres where the question papers and the answer sheets of the students would be kept with 24-hour security. Of the 305 nodal centres, 22 are police stations in the Maoist prone districts.

Asked about the despatch of question papers to the examination centres, Nanda said as per the decision of the Board, a despatch team, comprising Board employees, will leave for the nodal centres with the question papers and OMR sheets in the afternoon a day before the commencement of the examination with police protection and hand over the materials to the concerned centre superintendents.

“The team will move in a specific route and have a night halt at the last Centre. On the next day, the team, after the completion of the examination, will collect the OMR and question and answer sheets packets and deposit them in the nodal centres. The process will continue till the conclusion of the examination,” the BSE president informed.
