Bhubaneswar: Evaluation of annual Plus Two Practical examination papers began at the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) premises here today.

The evaluation which began at 10 AM, will continue till 5 PM.

Giving details about the evaluation process, CHSE chairman Prof Basudev Chhatoi said the evaluation is likely to continue till February 29.

He said for evaluation of Practical papers, the Council has put up 46 tables. Each table will have 5000-6000 papers with a chief examiner to oversee the evaluation work.

“As decided by the Council, evaluation of all Practical papers would be completed before the commencement of the Theory examinations scheduled to begin from March 2,” he added.

He further said all private, non-government and government colleges have submitted the Practical examination papers at the CHSE office.

He also informed that the Council has categorically asked the private college authorities to submit the CCTV footage of the practical examinations conducted by them at their respective institutions failing which, the Council would take appropriate action against them.

“Besides, the Council will also not evaluate the practical papers,” he pointed out.

Notably, the Plus Two Practical examination of had begun in the state on January 27.
