Bhubaneswar: Trahi Achyuta ashram’s chief Surendra Mishra alias Sura Baba and his two sons are entangled in Pratap Mishra murder case after the deceased’s brother Pramod Mishra yesterday filed a fresh complaint at Saheed Nagar police station here against the trio alleging connection between his brother’s death and the ashram located in Jhiniti Sasan.

In his complaint, while alleging that love affairs is the motive behind Pratap’s death in 2003, Pramod pointed fingers towards involvement of Sura Baba and his sons in the murder.

According to the FIR, Pratap, who hailed from Phulbani, was working in Sura Baba’s ashram. However, Pratap’s body was found near the computer institute of Trilochan, son of Sura baba, located in Saheed Nagar in 2003.

Pramod added he was threatened by some members of the ashram earlier to not to file police complaint.

Meanwhile, Pabitra, who was staying with Pramod, has also said some members of the ashram called the deceased out of the room on the fateful day and the body was found the next day near the computer institute.

Police complaint alleging murder was not registered in 2003 after the body was recovered.
