Centre to enhance age limit of doctors for AIIMS, Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Health Ministry’s Joint Secretary Sunil Sharma said the Centre is planning to enhance the age limit for appointment of doctors at the All India Institute of Medial Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar.

After a review meeting of the progress work of the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Sharma said, “Due to non-availability of experienced doctors, the Centre is considering to make a relaxation in the age limit of doctors which is at present 50 years.”

Sharma also inaugurated a new private ward at the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar taking the number of wards to 64.
