BJD corporator grilled over her alleged links with D-brothers

Cuttack: Commissionerate Police on Saturday grilled BJD corporator from ward number 7 Ranjita Biswal at Mahila police station here for her alleged connection with the arrested criminal brothers-Susil Dhalasamant and Susant Dhalasamant.

Talking to newsmen after a marathon interrogation, Biswal said “I know the Dhalasamant brothers since 2013. As I was working as a joint secretary in Cuttack Nagar Yuvak Sangha, an organisation founded by D-brothers, police have called me for Interrogation”

Asked wheatear she has any financial links with the D-brother, Biswal said “I am corporator. How can there is a possibility of any financial transaction with the brothers?”

“I had come in contact with them due to the social organistaion. I have answered all queries of police and will help in the investigation,” Biswal added.
