Bhubaneswar: The District Election Officer of Khurda on Saturday issued arrest warrant against 42 senior officers for not attending the training programme for the second phase of polling on April 17.

"These officers were supposed to attend the training programmes for presiding officers at Jawahar Navoday Vidyalay at Gurujang on March 31 and April 1. However, the 42 officers did not turn up," an official release said.

This apart, 26 other first polling officers were also found missing the training programmes, they said.
