Allotment scam: CDA issues notice to 85 more benificiaries

Cuttack: The Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) today issued show-cause notices to another 85 beneficiaries who have availed multiple flats and plots under discretionary quota from the authority.

According to sources, these beneficiaries are involved in 66 cases relating to illegal acquisition of multiple flats and plots under discretionary quota.

Earlier CDA has already served show-cause notices to 180 beneficiaries.

Besides, it had sent 191 files to the Vigilance department against beneficiaries who had availed multiple plots/flats under discretionary quota under general and lottery-based distribution.
