3 Arrested for Murder of Youth

Berhampur: Three brothers were arrested by the police for allegedly killing a 23-year-old man at Badagada in Odisha's Ganjam district, police said today.

Some sharp weapons, used to kill Silu Pradhan on October 26, were also seized after arrest of the accused persons yesterday, Inspector In-charge of Dharakote police station, Biswaranjan Nayak, said.

The three were identified as Tukuna Pradhan, Balaram Pradhan and Panchu Pradhan, three sons of Baraja Pradhan of the same village.

Previous enmity was stated to be the cause of the murder.

The deceased, an accused in a murder case, had recently been released on bail.
