12th BYOFF kicks off in Puri

Puri: The 12th edition of Bring Your Own Film Festival (BYOFF) began at Hotel Pink House at Chakratirtha near the beach here on Sunday.

The five-day event would witness screening of over 100 films of different genres and duration from India and other countries. Nearly 400 delegates from various parts of the world are expected to participate in the festival.

Talking to media persons, BYOFF member Suryasankar Das said, “For filmmakers there is no better platform than this to showcase their talent. Participants across the country and abroad are bringing their films to the BYOFF.”

Apart from this, the festival provides an opportunity to the filmmakers to showcase their products for prospective buyers.
