Bhubaneswar: The online application process for the special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) to fill up vacant seats in various private engineering colleges across the State began today. The process will continue till July 13.

As per the notification issued by the State Government earlier, the last date for online application fee payment is July 15 and the students can download the admit card from July 18.

The examination is scheduled to be held on July 22 while the results will be published on July 25.

Besides, the online registration for counselling and choice-filling will start from July 27 and continue till July 29 while the temporary seat allotment will be done by July 30. Verification of documents of students at nodal centres will be conducted on August 1, while final seat allotment list will be published on August 3, official sources said.

The Odisha government in March this year had decided to conduct special OJEE every year following demands from the Odisha Private Engineering College Association (OPECA) to fill up seats which remain vacant even after admissions of regular OJEE candidates.
