One Killed, Three Injured In Odisha During NH Widening Work

Angul: One labourer lost his life while three others suffered critical injuries after the roof of a shop collapsed on them during an eviction drive today in Budhapank area under Banarpal Police limits of Angul district.

The deceased has been identified as Sipu Sahu while the injured are Ajit Sahu, Jayant Sahu and Dhaneswar Muduli. The mishap occurred when the building was being demolished to clear the area for widening work of National Highway (NH)-55.

After getting information about the incident, Fire Services personnel reached the spot and rescued the labourers.

All of them were shifted to Angul Hospital where Sipu succumbed to injuries.
