Ganjam/Dhenkanal: One person was killed while as many as 50 others were injured in two separate road mishaps in Odisha.

In Gangpur Police limits of Ganjam district, one man was killed and over 15 were injured on Wednesday night after a mini-bus they were travelling in, overturned. As per reports, the mini-bus named 'Darpa' was carrying over 15 persons and was returning from Borigaon towards Tanarada when the driver lost control over the vehicle. One passenger identified as Gobardhan Jena died on the spot while 15 others were injured. The injured passengers were rushed to Aska hospital by the locals. Later on, the critically injured passengers were shifted to Berhampur hospital.

In another incident in Dhenkanal, as many as 35 passengers were injured after a bus overturned. The incident took place at Pada Chhak in Hindol area. Among the injured, five persons were shifted to Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital as there condition deteriorated. The ill-fated bus was on its way to Sambalpur from Bhubaneswar.
