Bhubaneswar: A total of 42,283 candidates have been allotted ranks in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2018, the results of which were announced today.
Candidates can download their rank card at www.ojee.nic.in and www.odishajee.com. Besides, the results are also available on Android app- OJEE2018.
As per sources, 42,288 candidates had appeared for the OJEE held for 12 different streams including MBA, MCA, B.Pharm, Integrated MBA, Lateral entry and M.Tech.
Subhrajit Panda has secured top rank in MBA course, while Biplaba Samantray was topper in MCA, Subham in Pharmacy, Tanushree Behera in Integrated MBA, Bushra Khatun in Lateral Entry BTech, Zahid Akhtar in Lateral Entry MCA, Bikash Keshari Majhi in Lateral Entry Pharmacy, Khitish Pattanayak in Lateral Entry B.Sc, Soumyabrata Banerjee in MTech, Bidisha Biswas in M.Pharm, Satrushna Kumar Mohapatra in MArch and Ankita Panda in MPlan course.
The entrance test was conducted at 81 centres across 20 towns in the State on May 13.
The exam is conducted by the OJEE Committee as per the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions Act, 2007 for admissions into technical and professional courses.
Online counselling for admissions will commence from June 2018 and students have to register their name, fill and lock their choices of colleges and courses as per their rank, said sources.
The counselling for each course will be held separately and admission of candidates will be rejected if they fail to produce original certificates on the day of verification of documents, informed authorities.
