Sambalpur: BJP's Sambalpur Lok Sabha candidate Nitesh Ganga Deb today challenged the candidature of BJD candidate Nalini Kant Pradhan accusing the latter of holding 'Office of Profit.'

Following the accusations made by Ganga Deb, Nalini's nomination paper scrutiny was postponed to Saturday (tomorrow).

"We have filed an objection on the BJD candidate's nomination on the charges of holding 'office of profit'. I hope, the returning officer will take a fair and right decision," said Ganga Deb.

Returning Officer will conduct hearing at around 10: 45 AM on Saturday and ascertain the allegations before deciding to accept or reject the nomination of Pradhan, said sources.

However, Pradhan and his party have not yet responded to the allegations made by the BJP candidate.
