Bhubaneswar: With fresh 1,255 COVID-19 patients getting cured in the last 24 hours, Odisha's total recoveries crossed 25000-mark on Wednesday. The number of cured patients in the State now stands at 25,737.
According to the information provided by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Ganjam reported the highest recoveries at 485 followed by Khurdha (125), Sundargarh (122), Sambalpur (107), Puri (75), Mayurbhanj (43) and Cuttack (40).

Earlier in the day, Odisha registered 1,337 new COVID-19 cases. The total number of positive cases now stands at 39,018 while the death toll increased to 225 with nine more casualties today.
Notably, Odisha has been registering 1000-plus recoveries for the last three consecutive days. While the State reported 1,119 recoveries on Monday, the number surged to a record 1,409 on Tuesday.
